PlainID, a leading startup, is seeking an R&D QA Tech Lead to join our growing team to improve the end-to-end product features and align the R&D solution to the company's business needs and overcome new technology challenges. Our solution is based on Java, Go, and React. A SaaS multi-tenancy solution based on microservices architecture. We are working in Agile with TDD/BDD and extreme programming processes to complete the end-to-end lifecycle of CI/CD. We're looking for you, to lead the next generation of our product.

As a Quality Lead, you will
- Practice Hands-On in designing, implementing, and executing both manual and automated tests to ensure test completeness.
- Lead the QA strategy by defining and implementing best practices, standards, and execution plans to ensure high-quality software products.
- Optimizing quality processes, such as test planning, test case design & review
- Establish a culture of quality by driving continuous improvement in testing processes and methodologies working closely with development teams and product team
- Continually assess and refine current quality assurance practices to improve effectiveness and efficiency.
- Provide leadership and guidance to R&D teams, quality engineers, and automation testers through mentoring, coaching, and training
Requirements
- 3-4+ years of experience of QA Architect or leadership role.
- 8+ years of Hands-on experience with SaaS platform manual QA and automation, preferred in Java/GO.
- Hands on QA experience with technology solutions aimed for technical users like DevOps, PS and such
- Hands-on experience building test plans and automation tests
- Hands-on experience working with Linux and CI tools in a cloud environment, such as Kubernetes, AWS, GitLab
- Independent, persistent, and "getting things done" person - A must.
- Thorough familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle within an Agile environment.
- Experience leading the quality of SaaS & On Prem products
- Experience managing functional and non-functional testing such as upgradability testing.
- Tools experience: Zephyr, Postman, Java-TestNG framework, other scripting languages
